it's like driving down a crowded hwy
tryin pass the cars whose brains are in neutral
so you turn on your gps on your cell phone
just so it can lead you to a toll road
don't remember till the bills in the mail
forget sometimes to go online to pay a small fee
but if your pulled over by a not so busy cop
your little fee turns into a fine
that's just the way the system goes
like when traffic cameras go off
when caution lights speed to red
another violation wondering why your wallets so thin
don't forget your soul
when your flesh decides to lay in the dust
from where He created you

makes you wonder what made his life a bore
i can relate living for the Lord
it can be a battle in my mind
good thoughts bad thoughts
who needs drugs when got the real thing
some talk about an apocalypse
when there's too much panic going on
too much worrying
where tomorrow will lead you
don't look inside your pockets for answers
search your soul
have a good talk with yourself
have a talk with your neighbor
and find out were really fighting the same disease
